who we are Flatiron Media's management team has over 25 years of experience in the online media industry.

Sujay Jhaveri, CEO
Before co-founding Flatiron Media, Sujay spent 5 years at Beliefnet, the leading online spirituality network. When the Company entered into a Chapter 11 restructuring, Sujay took on the role of President and he helped lead the company through this process converting $25 million of losses into a viable, consistently profitable company. The company grew revenue by 700% over 3 years while always retaining and increasing profitability. He oversaw the sales, marketing, finance, operations and technology groups and led company efforts to build a very profitable e-mail newsletter business (10 million subscriptions) and launched a dating site, Soulmatch. Prior to Beliefnet, Sujay spent 3 years at iVillage where he co-led the revenue group during which time the company grew from $12 million to over $70 million in run-rate revenues. Sujay began his career as an investment banker and a venture capitalist.

Raymond Costa, President
Before co-founding Flatiron Media, Ray has held numerous senior positions in traditional and new media companies spanning a 20-year career. Most recently, he was VP Strategic Partnerships at eDiets.com, the leading online diet & fitness site, where he led all sales, e-commerce and strategic alliances. During his three years tenure, he grew revenue by over $20 million, through a combination of advertising and subscription sales. Prior to eDiets, Ray was VP Business Development for Beliefnet, the leading online spirituality network, and VP Marketing for iVillage, the leading online women's network. Before moving online, Ray was Publisher for a $60 million b2b print brand and was responsible for all sales, marketing, editorial and the P&L. Ray has also held numerous roles at Ziff-Davis, culminating as part of the team that sold the company for $2.1 billion to Softbank. Ray began his career at Bertelsmann.

Patrick J. Molloy, VP Sales
Patrick brings over 20 years of Sales & Management experience to Flatiron Media. During his career, he has had responsibility for recruiting, training and managing sales staff, as well as driving new revenue streams for companies in the online advertising and enterprise software markets. Most recently, Patrick was Director of Advertising Sales at eDiets.com, where he grew total ad revenue by 28% and increased the revenue pipeline by $3.5 million in less than a year. Previously, Patrick has held senior sales and management positions at Ziff-Davis Publishing (including leading the charge for the company's first entry into online advertising), Kanda Software, Epicentric and Bravanta. Patrick was also the first Chairman of the IAB Marketing Committee.

Stephen D. Kempisty, Director of Business Development
Stephen brings over 10 years of Marketing & Management experience with him to Flatiron Media. Throughout his career he has had leadership roles in the Internet and Financial Services Industries, where he was responsible for advertising, project management and operations. Most recently, Stephen was the Director of Media Buying and Planning at eDiets.com and managed an online and offline customer acquisition budget of $25 Million dollars. Previously, he held management and supervisory roles at eSpeed, Standard & Poors, Credit Suisse | First Boston, and Fleet Bank, N.A.. Stephen is also a Faculty Member at the University of Phoenix and Colorado Technical University teaching classes in Management, Marketing & eBusiness.
